Another monday has come and passed. I did a lot today.
I made homemade laundry soap.
I did laundry with new homemade soap.
I shopped for groceries and made dinner for my family.
I cleaned the bathroom and changed sheets on the beds.
I went to zumba tonight and danced until my heart was content.
Now I am ready to climb into my warm bed, snuggle up to my honey and catch some Zzzzz.
I'm glad to be alive to do these little daily tasks and show my love for my family.
Hope you had a good Monday too!

Motto for the week + Goals
I enjoyed a nice weekend full of family and fun. The hubby and I got caught up on the first part of season 4 of White Collar. We seriously LOVE that show. Mozzie is the BEST.
My Motto for the week is:
I am realizing that if I want change or different results in my life, I am going to have to take different actions.
So, if I want to be healthy I need to:
Get up earlier to fit in a workout
Eat more fruit and veggies
Drink more water
These are all so commonsense that is kind of silly that I have to remind myself to do them. But, I have reached a point in my life where I am done playing the "victim". I am done with self-pity. It is time for action!
I wrote down some goals this week:
- Exercise 5 days this week for 45 min
- Read my bible daily
- Clean out the flower beds
- Organize my coupons
- Post new items on my Etsy shop
- Date Night with Husband
- Make a treat with StepSon
- Work on Scrapbooking
- Keep up with daily housework
- Practice contentment
SO those are my goals and I know that I can do a great job on them. I just have to be self-disciplined and focused.
Have a great Monday!

Goals and accountability
Monday is here again and after a good weekend. I am feeling refreshed and ready to take on this week.
I didn't sit down to write out my goals for the week yesterday. So it gave me a little time to think about what i want to work on.
goals
#1. Read my bible every day this week, preferably in the morning.
#2 Exercise 4 days this week. Mon,Tues,Wed,Fri-I already finished today's workout:)
#3 Work on a crafty project-I need to make something for my hubby. Our anniversary is next week!
#4. Stick to my homemaking schedule so I don't get behind and subsequently becoming very very very cranky...not fun
#5. Plan a date with my man.
OK, so there are my five goals that should be relatively easy to accomplish. I just have to stay FOCUSED on them. Maybe by writing them down on this blog I will feel more accountable to stay on task.
What are your goals for this week?
